POPULAR KITCHEN RENOVATION STYLES:
TRADITIONAL
Traditional kitchens use elaborate profiles for the cabinet doors, baseboards, and trim. The idea is to maintain a comfortable space that comfortable for the whole family, but with decorative elements and architectural details. You will often find archways and ornate moldings. Classic hanging light fixtures or chandeliers are also common. Following the golden-oak era, traditional kitchens continue to incorporate natural wood elements throughout the design. MODERN
What we now call “modern design” stems from the minimalistic style that became popular in the 1950s. With this style, we see clean lines, soft curves, and unique material combinations. Modern furniture is functional with minimal ornamentation. In modern kitchens, you will see flat surfaced cabinet faces with simple hardware. Without as much ornamentation the natural qualities of the building materials become a feature of the kitchen. We had our bathroom flooring removed and new flooring installed in all three bathrooms plus some other items upgraded. They did a great job and we were very pleased with the quality of the work, and also that they came every single day until the job was done. 2 weeks start to finish.
